Seicento MitsiCento

Introduction

well back with a fresh fiat and think i have got my grubby little mits on a half decent little motor

what i have is a 2000 Yreg seicento sx 1108mpi, i bought it as spares or repares due to a headgasket problem but dont think it is myself, so got it as a cheap little project and see what magic i can pull with it lol
well small update:- feet are sorted for the cage and the tunnel is cut out and seat in place ready to move colome and pedals across.

this will be finished but i have just had some bad news from my dad so i am fairly sure this has gone on the back burner for a few weeks so maybe looking like racing next season instead of the winter series.

ok so got another update!!

turns out a mitsi V6 in a seicento is tighter than a nats crack but it fits, got the bumper and wings on (with cable ties at mo) but it all fits ish.

the front wheel base is now 5" wider on each side 10" in total, that should help handling a little lol

how is that suspension going to work at that angle? You need to convert it to dual wishbone....

EDIT: Ah I see the start of the 2nd wishbone in one of the other pics :)

cool, glad to see progress on this, really fun project!

well as some of you predicted this build has died, we got to the point of the engine in place and mounted to find that the bonnet and front panels were less than an inch off the block which in the event of a crash there would be no protection for the engine at all, we decided to end the build and sold the shell to a friend (other thread i revived) to re-shell his autograss car due to a crash and bent the car.
