Media player lost

Hello everyone,

I am French so I apologize for the bad translation but I'll try anyway.

My concern is the following:

I made the update to 5.5 and there was an error
I redid the update and it is well done
After I wanted to install 5.6 but not => USB10 error ....

So I re-install version 5.5 without any problems but since I do not have a media player.
Could not find it in the menu or in the configuration
Now I can not read USB stick with MP3 files

Despite several updates in 5.5 can not find the function?
I even tried disconnecting the battery 30min but it changes nothing.

Do you have any idea?

I would try to install version 5.4.
Have you a link to download it? I do not find more on the internet.

I might have the 5.4 somewhere, but as far as I know you cannot go back to the previous version. I would try another USB stick and try to install version 5.6. Try to use a very small 512MB-1GB, simple USB stick. Make sure it's formatted to FAT32. Hope it helps.

I'm still trying to install version 5.4 if it is possible to send it to me.

Tonight I tried to disconnect the battery + fuse for one hour and then reinstall 5.5 but still no multimedia player.

Can you help me with what you did.

I have the exact same problem, when I did pretty much the steps you've mentioned.

Now, my Media player menu option appears momentarily, when i insert a pen drive. Neither plays anything, nor builds the library (as it earlier used to ).

I can pair my phone to use the HFP profile, and phone book works too, but the phone disconnects frequently, it's become a pain to use.
