Technical MAP or MAF?

How can I tell if my car has a MAP or a MAF sensor?

As far as I can tell it has a MAP sensor. I am having problems with the car being sluggish etc.

I have replaced the air filter (which needed done anyway), cleaned out the egr and I was hoping to clean the MAF but im not sure if its a MAP or MAF.

My car is a 58 bravo 120 mjet 1.9.

I located where i think it should be, just to the left of and below the battery, had it unplugged and (as far as I can tell from pictures) its a MAP. Kinda disappointed as I was hoping to clean the MAF but ive heard you can only replace the MAP and not clean it.

I got a loan of a diagnostic machine so gonna use that later on.

just a bright torch and some 20/20 vision first, also check there isnt any holes in the intercooler!

a dodgy egr valve can also bring up a fault with a maf sensor due to modern 'canbus' on vehicles
