Driving home from work yesterday after the terrible rain we have had , I was talking the corners in the road i could here water swishing from side to side behind me . Removed hardtop today ,pulled up the softtop and found an 1" of water lyitng in the softtop well, I removed the softtop chassis frame and dried the area , I then removed the brackets from the softtop chassis and attached them back on the car as these are required to attach the hardtop again, refit hardtop and adjusted clamps to give a better seal . drove home from work today and without the soft top behind you makes it a very quiet car no creaks and groans , i shall rebuild the soft top next spring , For anyone with a hardtop 2hrs labour makes it a better drive in the winter months .(y)

what a bad experience!
Every time you mount the hardtop I know it's better to adjust the doors window to be sure they could match properly the hardtop washers. This because the ardtop position could be not the same as the one of the soft-top.
Each door window could be adjust on 3 axes removing the door panel.
You need few tools and a lot of patience!
