Technical Leaking gearbox input shafts ?!

My mechanic said that he found bouth gearbox input shafts leaking.
Is this costly to repair ?!

umm, ive never heard anyone call anything that before, on the gearboc you will have 2 driveshafts that come out of it, those seals are quite easy to get too and wont be too expensive to replace.

The input shaft on the gearbox is much harder to get to and fix, so that wont be so cheap, but there is one of those

so i presume they mean the 2 driveshafts?
