Itunes question

At the moment i'm running out of hard drive space drasticly my itunes is copy what ever i put it to it but i do delete the original after to make room. What i want to know is would it be possible to move all my itunes file across to an external hard drive with messing up my itunes?

Wouldnt that confuse it though so it thought the files or does changing the file location rectify that?

you leave your itunes files intact
all you are moving is the music files
thne you are telling itunes where the songs are now stored.

Same here. Moved them last weekend with no problems whatsoever

You don't even need to move the files yourself. Simply change the library location, then choose File, Library, Consolidate Library. It'll move the files for you.
