the new copart car has some internal paint damage. Basically its the soft part of the pillar that sits behind the B pillar trim. It was hit by a hammer.
Ive straightened (after a fashion) the metalwork but the colour has flaked off.... the metalwork will be hidden behind the pillar trim internally and when the new rear quarter is installed behind the black outer of that. Its bare metal underneath the paint.... exposed section is about 40mm long and 10mm wide at widest but tapers
so....can i leave it?
does it need to be rubbed down primed and painted.....
can i use a bottle of build up primer the 30ml ones on ebay?
can i just use touch up paint?
photo shows damage before straightening.... section of paint loss is now bigger but this should give the general idea
