Hello,

You may have already guessed from the title that one of the indicators is not flashing, causing the other two (on the RHS) to flash at almost double the rate. I did the obvious thing and replaced the bulb on the front indicator but it didn't help. In fact, I kept the old bulb because it seems to be intact, although a little black around the base.

I imagine there must be a problem with the wiring somewhere between the relay and the lamp. Has anybody come across this problem before or does anybody know where I should start looking? I had a quick look at the wire immediately behind the lamp but it seems OK.

Perhaps I should be looking at the relay, but I don't know where to find it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Tom

OK, it's unlikely to be the repeater unit as the other two bulbs are working.
You'll need to check the connectors/wiring and the earth.

You will need a multimeter if you haven't already got one, well worth it though.

I'd definitely check the earth first though, put the multimeter on the nearside indicator connector and see what sort of resistance you get to earth, you should get similar values on the offside connector - if not, investigate further.
