No. I can easily achieve the claimed 55.4mpg for mine, sometimes 56-57. On a run to Weymouth this weekend my trip average was 56.8.

Filled up before leaving and again on return, did about 130 miles and used 15 quid of diesel.

Sucking in unburnt Petrol fumes from a badly running 89 Panda cruising at 50 doesnt count, and you can't trust the MPG readout, was programmed b the same Liers who wrote the figures

Only fuelly results count.
