General Horn fuse problem

Hello. I have a problem in that the fuse for my horn and interior light blows almost every time I press the horn.

This is a fairly recent development (the horn and interior light have been fine for years)

Is there an obvious fix for this that I'm not aware of?

All suggestions welcome!

Answering my own question here! Someone on another forum suggested I fit a rubber washer between the horn unit and the car body. I was dubious as the horn has worked fine for the past two years. Tried it anyway and problem solved!

its a 1973 fiat 500R
