Help/Opinions please?

Hi,
I don't think I've ever ventured into the computer section before... lol. Anyway to cut a long story short I hate my Dell laptop with a passion. I had an iMac, but it went bust after 2/3 years and there was no way I was paying that kind of money for it to do it again.
I have now decided to buy a small desktop and monitor, and need something with a bit of power to run Adobe CS4. This is what I've narrowed it down to....

Acer Aspire X3300

HP Compaq 8000

Opinions &/or words of wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks

The Acer looks like a lot of kit for the money. Don't know what their build quality is like nowadays, but the first PC I bought for home was an Acer. It's 11 years old now and in retirement at the back of the wardrobe, but it still works.

If you want to take them up on the free Windows 7 upgrade (and I suggest you do) you'll need to buy before Jan 31 as that's when the offer expires.
