500 (Classic) Hello - newbie with a problem I hope you can solve

Hi everyone, I have a 2010 500c Lounge, the weather turned as soon as I had it serviced, MOT'd and the roof fixed - just my luck! didn't stop me testing the roof several times though. Anyhoo on a recent journey I decided to make a call, happily talking away for around 3-4 mins when there was a horrendous noise - sounded like someone keeping their hand on the horn.

I cut the call and pulled onto the hard shoulder, fumbled around trying to find the number for the recovery firm and noted the noise was louder in the car than out? finally got through to the recover firm and just as the call was winding up the noise stopped (i would say it sounded for around 15mins)got in and tested whether it would start and it did, canx the recovery and gingerly drove home waiting for it to do it again but it didn't. I haven't found much when googling it - anyone here have the same issue or know how to resolve it - am assuming it is something to do with using the phone via bluetooth etc.?
