Garage Prices!

Hi

My local friendly garage has just quote me 4.6 hours labour at £284.60 to fit a lowering spring kit to an Alfa 147, does this sound right, it sounds steep to me.

Anyone local who can do this for me, or recommend a fair priced garage?

Depends which "Metropolis" you're located in.

If London then £62 p/h would be cheap.

4.6 hours is excessive, it took 2 hours to do on my Alfa GT, I'm phoning around for a better price............

£284.60? Sounds like an extortionate price to me, jsut for lowering springs. :shakehead::shakehead:

Got it done at another garage in the end, £180 all in but it was a big job due to the rear independant suspension set up.
