Technical Fuel Additive and dashboard lightning?

Hi guys,

Any ideas if I need a fuel additive, and if so which one would be recommended?

Also, is the lightning on the dashboard meant to be so dim, as it seems very low and the control is already set to max?

As one of the members explained to me recently. There are two settings: dim and dimmer.

Check the voltage to the dimmer switch and you'll probably find it is struggling to get to 10v - a lot of cars are like this now and it needs fixing properly to sort it. Not a huge task though.

There is also the option of converting the dashboard to LEDs instead of bulbs but I think that might probe a little more time consuming.

Do a search for the brown wire mod on the forum and it should tell you pretty much all you need to know about the voltage problem.
