My sisters KA has been doing all sorts, chugging about and cutting out all over the place. After her boyfriend changed everything from the sparks to the lambda, I've had a look and come to the conclusion that the connector to the air mass sensor is shagged - or at least the wiring going into it is.

Recommendations? Don't know whether to cut it off then rewire using the same sensor, or try and buy a new one. Can't find one though...

Cheers!

That's what I thought, but I did wonder whether I'd need something to go on the end of the wires before it goes into the connector, if you get what I mean. Reluctant to take it all apart without knowing I can fix it. If it were my car I wouldn't mind.

I'll pull the old connector off later and see whats what. At least one of the wires is coming out anyway, hence the problem - I think they're probably corroding and falling out.

Anyone ever done this before? Don't want to have to change the whole loom...
