I have a rattling sound on my flat Punto 1.2ltr engine i change the gearbox as it broke and now I have a loud rattling sound

I have a rattling sound on my flat Punto 1.2ltr engine i change the gearbox as it broke and now I have a loud rattling sound

Need more information, is the noise coming from the engine or the new gearbox, does the noise go away if you press the clutch pedal, is the noise when stationary or driving along, in all gears or just one, is the oil level in the new gearbox correct?
