Technical Flashing mileage readout

Hi all.my Fiat 500s has a flashing milage read out,my dealer can,t seem to be able to stop it flashing on and off.Wondered if anyone else has had this problem,and if so how to stop it,thanks

A network FIAT dealer.. or a general garage ?

There are several potential causes..
What have they investigated..?

As importantly.. is there a warranty involved ?

Flashing mileage is often a sign of the battery starting to go.

Hi how old is the car, as above battery could be failing, flashing mileage is often caused by various ECU's in the car not talking to each other and is usually cured by "proxy alignment" this requires Fiat specific software to fix it(that you can buy yourself with cables and use a laptop) to sort. Our car randomly asked for the radio code, a week later the battery catastrophically failed after seemingly perfectly fit.

It should be a simple fix
