Fiat 4x4 cross

Got a fiat panda cross 4x4 and the diff is whining after only 15000 miles. Anyone help with ideas to fix it

Whining gears are often terminal. Has it got any oil and are you sure it's the diff? Could be something less dramatic - eg wheel bearings.
