My motorhome seems to be running a P1612 fault code that has left the mechanic scratching his head.
He says it's to do with the fuel preheater and he has checked the circuit, changed the relay's and even swapped out the heater but the error code is still appearing.
Just wondering if anyone had any ideas or have had similar problems? It's an 04 plate Ducato, 2.2l diesel.
The last mechanic absolutely ripped us when we had the van in, however this guy had done a ton of work for no charge so far as he can't fix the problem which I thought was pretty top notch. So I've offered to do some of the leg work, just hoping someone might be able to help.
