The electrics on my 1.6 are all over the place. here is a list of things that have happened
Low fuel on gauge after putting petrol in it. Sometimes.
3 beeps from dash check "check engine" MIL light on, then it goes off.
1 beep from dash "excessive coolant temp" gauge goes to max, within 3 seconds it goes back to normal.
When the battery is reconnected and ignition turned on the radio comes on.
Also the RPM is up and down when the car is at idle, and the engine vibrates/shakes like it is miss firing. When I changed the engine I swapped the throttle body, the MAP, the crank position sensor, fuel rail, and both lambda sensors
I have scanned it with multiecuscan and no fault codes come up.
It has recently had an engine change, new exhaust and a new timing belt but I cant see that effecting the electrics.
I know Fiat electrics are not the best in the world but I would rather find the problem than taking it to a fiat dealer who will charge me?????????? and might not find the problem.
Im a student so money is a bit tight at the moment.
