Is it a simple job to change the mirrors on an SX to electric ones?

if the loom is behind the door card then yes, straight forward..you will just have to buy em glass with motors and also the switch panel that sits in centre console

yes it is possible its easier if the wiring loom is in the doors but even if its not it can be done as i have done it on mine

best bet is to remove door card first and look if you have the white plug for the mirrors normally taped up by the mirror area somewhere

if not not all is lost just go to srappies and remove the complete looms from doors that have elecy mirrors and either swap yours over or just use the wires needed for the mirrors which is what i did and add them to your loom but take the lot from the scrappies first
