Technical Duff lambda sensor ?

anyone know the symptoms of a faulty lambda sensor ?

daughters Mk1 60S is ok when cold but hesitates on accereration when warm , like a flat spot ,and picks up again if you floor the accelerator.

there's no management warning light , haven't read the codes

due to it being ok when cold makes me think lambda sensor , shall I try disconnecting it altogether and see what happens ?

guess nobody has had a lambda sensor failure, looking at the case studies on the Lambda power website
