Trying to find a picture of where the exhaust downpipe bracket bolts to the engine, my previous downpipe didn't have one, and it sheared off on the way to work, spoke to a friend who said they normally have a bracket to help support the weight, picked up a new downpipe today as the old one couldn't be repaired, and it came with a bracket.
The bracket is a collar which clamps around the pipe and has a flat arm with a bolt hole a bit like this:
But looking under the car I can't see how it could attach on, I also can't see any pictures either on the eper or online of where it would bolt to?
I think I'm going to have to make a bracket myself, but can anyone point out where it's normally mounted to on the 1.2 8v mk2 engine, thanks.
