General does the 2.0jtd need need fap refilling?

I am a bit confused, i have a 54 plate 2.0jtd the Fap refill warning has just come on - Does this exist on this engine size?
thought it was just the 2.2 version if so - is there a resevoir i can check anyware?
would this damage the vehicle if not refilled immediately?

They usually need a regeneration process on examiner from my limited knowledge

The resevoir is under the car under the front passenger seat.
You can take the filler lid off and use a clean stick to dip the level.
Holds 5 ltrs when full.
Very expensive stuff it is too!

Just popped this into my local garage who had no idea about this - they rang fiat up whom claimed it will cost at least £100 just to put it on the diagnostic machine !!!! is this correct and does anybody have any Scematics showing where the resevoir is and the filters etc.
