Technical Coilovers

I want to replace the springs on my 2.4 with uprated and lowered items. I want to replace the front shocks at the same time (I did the rears last year), but I like the idea of a fully adjustable set up. Does anybody know if the front struts are fully interchangeable with Vectra C items? I ask because Vectra coilovers start at £200 with loads of choice, but I can only find one company offering them for the Croma at nearly £500!!

I think i asked this once and the answer was yes but

when you lower a croma it alters rear camber a lot, so every time you changed the hight you would have to get 4 wheel aliment

Thanks for that Dave. I need the alignment doing anyway because one of the rear tyres has scrubbed the edge. I'll wait until I've made a decision on the suspension before I get the tracking done then.

Well I took advantage of the lovely weather today and finally fitted the coilovers.
I ordered Vectra C Estate ones and they are a perfect fit.
I have taken a photo of them at their lowest setting. It makes the Croma look extremely aggressive and seems to have a slimming effect too
Sadly it's not very practical, so I will be playing with the ride height until I find a compromise that I am happy with.

Finally got them how I want them. Approx 65mm drop on the front and 30mm on the rear.
They are JOM a German company. Fully TUV approved and are very well made. They give a firm ride but not too harsh (and thats running 255/35 19's).
