Technical Climate Control Removal/ Replacement

I have a 2014 Fiat 500L Pop with a three knob climate control. I am trying to find instructions on how to remove and replace the controls. I have a new one, but can't determine exactly how to get the old set out. There are seemingly hundreds of examples of removing the 4 knob climate control, but nothing on the three knob and it is decidedly different. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction other than finding a qualified service center?
