So the the rotor arm and cap on my Fantasia are looking rough after six months and the general consesious here is the black box or electronic distributors are an upgrade from the original points ones. As Lumerington no longer do pointless conversion kits for the Panda I'm wondering if this is a viable option and most important...

How do you wire one in to the Panda loom?

...I'll be keeping the engine on carb's so I won't be replacing anything else.

Any ideas opinions or knowledge would be very much appreciated.

My brother was obsessed with the girl miming in the video. So much so he was gutted when he went to see them live and she wasn't there. Makes me smile just thinking about it. :D

Not sure on the wiring as I've never done it, but it can't be that hard can it? Definately the best way to go though if your points keep playing up, the electronic ones don't seem to go wrong very often, and if they do its usually the module on the side that is the problem.

What brand arm and cap are you using? I've heard that cheap ones can be terrible and can cause all sorts of trouble, that vanishes when better quality parts are used.
