Autoglym SRP on alloy wheels

Hello

Has anyone ever used Autoglym SRP on their alloy wheels? According to AG site you can do this. If AG say you can then they should know but isn't SRP slightly abrasive?

All polishes are abrasive. That's the difference between polish and wax.

Should be ok to use on wheels as they are usually painted. Do you have minor swirls?

My wheels are are regularly SRP'd followed by spray wax , not only does this make them shine more it makes the wheels alot easier to clean , white wheels and the brake dust just wipes off with little to no effort.

My wheels are 2nd hand but i've not noticed any swirls or scratches. I just want to try and make them a bit shinier

My alloys are standard 16" Fiat ones, not painted any other colour.

SRP isn't abrasive, its a filler polish

Perfectly fine to use on wheels, but i dont know if it'd last on them due to the heat and brake dust

AG Super Resin Polish is superb on wheels! It fills in all those litle imperfections and really makes them look new again. One tip I would suggest is sealing them after you've polished them, no point going to all that hard work polishing them and then letting the rain, brake dust etc eat into the polish as it won't last more than a few weeks.
