Hi guys

This is going to sound a bit confusing, but here goes:

I have a Bravo HGT with a custom-made, Powerflow exhaust system from the cat back. I had it fitted when my original exhaust went badly corroded.

It cost £545 in March 2006 at 66k (ONLY 18k AGO!) and the back box has a lifetime warranty (I don't know whether that warranty is transferrable). It was fitted by Top Gear Performance Limited (exhaust specialists) in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Since having it fitted, I personally, have regretted it. I asked for 'quiet' but it is, to be honest, LOUD! It's not AS loud as a lot of people's exhausts - it still cruises quietly when you want it to, but when you put your foot down it sounds the business. Unfortunately, (call me boring) but this does not suit me.
All I want is the standard exhaust system back :-( !!

I don't want any money for it, all I ask is this:

You must have a Bravo HGT with the original exhaust/cat, in VERY GOOD condition, so it lasts me a few years and so it's not corroded.

You would meet me at my home in St Albans and we would drive together to Top Gear (1 minute drive away) - we would give them both cars and tell them to swap. All I ask is that YOU pay for their labour in doing the swap - whatever it takes them to do it, even if it needs new brackets/new pipe sections made to either car. You will pay their bill to get BOTH cars perfect.

I have not called Top Gear for a quote, but I expect it would be at least half an hour per car.

Pictures of the exhaust are attached (see how sexy it looks) and also a picture of the invoice form Top Gear is attached so you can see exactly what you're getting.

This is a bloody good opportunity for anyone who wants a seriously high quality exhaust system for a fraction of its proper cost.

Please let me know if you're interested and if you can meet me in St Albans and are willing to pay for the swap. I suggest you also liaise with Top Gear to satisfy yourself that it's doable from a financial and practical perspective. Remember, if your original exhaust is corroded, it won't work and it will be a waste of everyone's time!

I could very easily just buy a new (quiet) back box for about £200 including fitting at Top Gear and then re-coup the outlay by selling the Powerflow system on eBay, but this way 2 people will benefit together - you get the system cheaper than it would fetch on eBay (probably) and I get my old man peace again!

Hope to hear from someone.
