Ok so I've moved to a place which doesn't have an outside tap, my kitchen tap leaks like hell with a hose on it and my pressure washer is knackered, since my wife got made redundant I'm not going to be resolving any of these any time soon.

So my alternative car wash now goes like this.

Do weekly grocery shop.

On way home nip into ARC car wash and go to Jet Wash, not the drive through!!

Insert £2 for 6 minutes use.

High Pressure Shampoo lower half of car, paying particular care to arches, wheels, and underneath the car.

Hot shampoo spray whole car.

Rinse entire car including arches and underbody.

Drive home.

Giving shopping to her indoors to put away.

Wash with 2 bucket method, now almost all dirt off car.

Rinse briefly with loose hose ignoring cries of fury from kitchen.

Dry.

Apologise profusely to her indoors for soaking the kitchen, then see if I can get her to make me a cup of tea.

Not ideal but does as a solution until I get money together to sort things out properly.

I got a cheap Karcher for £60. It's knackered now and it just wasn't strong enough.

When I get another one I want a stronger one, but with things being the way they are I'm not going to have that kind of money for a while, so the £2 option from ARC works for me.

Recommend their Jet Washes if your stuck for time and need a quick rinse off. Just pay £1 for 3 minutes and pick what you want to come out the lance. prewash, shampoo, or rinse:)
