as far as i can remember the marea has indicators on the dash to tell you when each individual door is open, that means that the door triggers have to all be wired independantly with a diode, otherwise you get all doors open on the indicator when you actually only open 1., it also mess's up the headlight warning chime.
you can wire the door trigger to the dome light, all you have to do is remove the light, take note of the colours in it and find them in the fusebox/ECU area., test them with a continuity tester before wiring anything.,
i think the wires for the door triggers on a marea are at the ECU but im not 100% on that, also think its under the passenger footwell.,
