Hi everyone i havent been on here since christmas but i was wondering if any1 could give me some advice on buying a 1996/1997 fiat punto 75 elx.
Im going to look at one later and was wondering if any1 could give me some tips on what to look out for.
Ive just got rid of my 1995 55s and im gutted to get rid ov it but i wanted something abit more faster but i dont want to end up with aload of problems, ive already heard of checking for leaks in the footwells and gasket problems, advice needed please

I think that the 75 is an interference engine, so in addition to what you would check on your 55, make critically sure that the cambelt has been changed at the proper interval. Otherwsie, assume it needs replacing immdiately (with the water pump).
