Following my last post regarding losing 5th gear I checked the linkages and narrowed it down to the gears After stripping 5th I've found the hub has broken into about 4 pieces and will cost around £30 to replace
Before stripping the gears I noticed the nut was loose held on by the crimping. Is this correct and if so does that mean I need to have some end float when reassembling? If so how much?
I have to thank everydody for the information you gave me as without it I would have left it to the garage to sort and it would have cost me £££££s
Cheers
