Hi All,
Recently purchased a 2009 bravo with 27k miles and want to get it serviced just to make sure its all running well. Just phoned my local fiat garage and want to charge me £600+ for the service (my wallet has officially s**t itself) Although its not done 72K miles they want to do a 72k mile service due to its age. Am i being ripped off??

My local dealer has gold and silver care servicing packages for vehicles over 3 years old.

Much cheaper than that quote, and are fiat recognised :)

Might be worth asking again at the stealer :D

Although your car hasnt done the mileage for a belt change it is recommended to change after 4 or 5 years. I am guessing that price includes the belt change!?

Also worth doing the water pump. What engine has it got?

Its only a 1.4 Its going to Essex autogroup instead of glynn hopkin. Even with the cambelt change Essex auto are only charge 425 and there fiat specialist.

I have just booked my car in for 4th year 60k miles and have been quoted £253 all in at local Fiat dealer and that includes belts done. Really suppose what are of the country you are in as to the variations in price. My car is the 165 sport.

Aye its the 2 ltr Diesel 165 sport and that quote was at Border Cars in Dumfries. Gave them details of the car and milage and told me what was needing doneand that it included belts. It may need slightly more than that as i have an issue with the handbrake which they will probably advise me about.

reasonable if it is a T Jet

Nope it's just the standard 1.4. Couldn't afford the insurance on a T-Jet. Best quote I got for that was £2000 and thats with 2 years no claims :(.
I'm thinking I may just use an independent and save some pennies
