Technical 2011 Punto Evo Hazard Switch Assembly

I just purchased a 2011 Punto Evo GP (upgrade from my 08 Punto Grande GP) yesterday, the only annoying thing about it is the lack of a boot opening button on the hazard assembly.

If I purchased a used hazard assembly with the same buttons as mine but including the boot button, would it work?
Or is it dependent on the pin connector/ecu.

That’s because the evo moved the boot opening button to the boot badge, not a lot of need to open the boot from the front of the car if you can open it when you’re stood in front of it.

I’m not sure if there are any evos that had the boot button in the car. If there were, they may not work as they will have definitely changed the wiring on cars that had the button in the boot badge
