1996 UNO start fire engine

Hi all I have an UNO start which I was getting round to selling so gave it a clean and jet washed the engine bay arggggh big mistake wouldn't start so took filter off blew it out gave the engine bay a good blast with the airline and waited till the morning she then started trouble is u will drive her for ten minutes and she will cut out did I mention it's an spi engine not carbed so I put a tell tale on the plug lead and it seems the spark just suddenly cuts I have also noticed that she idles very tempremantaly like she's hunting I have replaced the coil and it has helped but it still cuts out now and again and she still hunts please help I'm at my end with it now thanks in advance phill

Remove distributor cap, clean it and dry it. Mixture of dirt and water on the inside could could have caused it to 'track'. Once this happens any dirt becomes carbonised and even if dry will still leak to tracking and loss of spark.

Also remove leads from spark plugs and blow dry.
