General 1242cc mpi probs help

hi i done it the hard way lol but will b worth it when its done gona turbo it 2 but 1st gotta get it runing got the engine in no probs its just the wiring thats givin me jip :bang: hav any of u guys done the mpi conversion? need some tips/help thanks

Isn’t it just the case of splicing the 4 injector wires to the single spi injector wire since they all fire simultaneously?

I assume this is the Mk1 Punto 75 1.2 engine your taking about and not the 16v? Unless you already have a 75 ECU it could be problematic and then there’s the new ECU immobiliser to get around.

However thinking about it if you’re turboing an mpi I guess that’s means your using a custom ECU is that right? Need more details. Don’t even know if it’s a cinq or mpi sei lol.

My 1108 cinq is now MPi, in short here's what you need to do...

• splice the 4-way injector wiring on to the single wiring
• adapt the water, vacuum and fuel plumbing as the block is taller and the inlet manifold is bigger
• modify the bulkhead to accommodate the inlet manifold
• de-code the MPi ecu (remove the cinq code box if its a coded car)
• uprate the fuel pump to 3bar
