If you have a Smart Phone you have to go install this app! its by Autodesk and is called 123D Catch and it will basically make a 3D model from anything you can photograph the idea being to be able to then take that 3D model and print it on a 3D printer or edit and manipulate it in a variety of programs
I must admit i didn't expect much but was very pleasantly surprised I strongly advise you give it a go!
the best thing is its absolutely Free !!!
as you can see from the samples i've uploaded it can get a bit confused with shiny objects hence the gap in the bonnet but its done pretty well for a first attempt, and was probably more down to me than the program

once processed you can rotate and zoom on these models in anyway you can imagine
