Hi guys. I want to do something different. I want to turbo my 1100 fire engine. My question is this. Will the stock crank and rods hold up with 0.5 to 0.8 bar boost? Im not too familiar with the engines as I switched from opel to fiat and I never gave fiat a lot of thaught before. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

firstly an awnser to your question: yes, the standard crank and rods are strong enough for that kinda boost. most people seem to change out the pistons first and use de-comp plates to lower the compression ratio.
secondly: the best sorce of further infomation is the cinq/siecento section of this site. your engine is the same as in the cinqs and most of the sies so 90% of the knowledge with transfer over.
