Hi!
My problem is that my tempra (-91) consumes too much fuel, about
8-8,5 l / 100 km. CO & HC values from the exhaust pipe are both too
high, lambda was something like 0,70. Anybody share the problem ? I don't
know what causes this - I'm now seeking the solution from thermal sensor for
the electronic control unit.
It seems that the engine is working fine without this sensor connected (from
the motor side) when driven. As I checked the Ohm values directly from
thermal sensor - it showed about 700 Ohms when engine rested about and
hour and 400+ when driven about ten minutes - it seems that the sensor
itself is working fine. Problem can be in sensor wires?
Where's tempras electronic control unit located ? Just to check all the
sensors are well connected there and to measure that thermal Ohm value
gets through wiring.
