General Oil cooler

Hello all my oil cooler has a leak i have got it off with pipe work still attached,it is to far gone to be repaired,can i run car without one as was going to get a pipe made to just loop in and out of oil filter housing, it is a 1.9td estate.

Hi,
1.9TD..??,
I damaged 1 cooler hose on my tipo 1.9 TD,
undid the good hose from the cooler ( tight/awkward) and looped it back to filter housing stubs,
YES will run slightly hotter. not an issue in December..,

hello charlie thanks for reply,i will loop for now if i can get pipe off cooler,alu and steel fused together so not looking good ,there is a pirtex center in nottingham can get pipe made there if need to,need to keep old fiats going its a tempra 1.9td estate .
