| 1995 tempra immobiliser removel/disable the red key light on the dash has started to stay on...so the bugger will not start, i have tried to start it with the red key but same thing happens, so i presume the immobiliser has issues...eventualy it will start but i cannot trust it & my wife is pregnant 2 days over due so i really need it to be RELIABLE doe's anyone know how to diable, remove, destroy, nuke the bloody immobliser.....any ideas would be welcome......thks

| in reply to my own message, after taking my Tempra to about a dozen garages including Stone Acre Fiat....i found someone who actualy new what he was talking about, there are two ways of getting round it either repair the coil & transponder of the immob for £125.00 (you need all keys for this 1 red 2 blue) or get a blank ecu get your software copied of your old ecu minus the part which wants the code of the immob then stick back in & away you go (without immob)thats the option which i took so the problem could never come back, cost £152.00. Do'nt steam clean your engine this is how my problems arose. p.s my wife had a boy 11 lb 4 we called him Ethan[^]
