I have an annoying problem with my 95 Brazilian Tempra. I cannot activate the alarm with the remote (the remote doesn't work, hasn't for years). Thus everytime I lose the battery charge or have to remove the battery, when I connect the battery I struggle with getting things going again without the alarm kicking in. After awhile with playing with the in car trick of being able to have the battery connected without the alarm going off, I can get the car started again.

I'm sick of the this procedure and since the alarm is useless to me, I just want to get rid of the factory installed alarm. Thoughts on how it can be done? Can it only be done at a dealership and would they even know how to do it?
