(T) Air conditioner clutch not working + cool fan problems.

Hello all
I had a small accident , i hit someone and crashed my radiator on my fiat tempra station 1993 a few months ago. I have fixed the damage and replaced the radiator, all looks as new but the air conditioner electro magnetic clutch does not work , i checked the small black box above the right front headlight and it had a connector disconnected. I plugged it back but it didn't helped. Actually it really does nothing even if i connect it back or leave it disconnected.
Then i checked the relays inside and fuses but they all are ok. The air conditioner inside fan and controls are working but there is no 12v on the clutch coil wires when i turn the air cond. on. Could it not work because there is low gas pressure ?
Now i am confused, is there any other place in the car where a fuse could affect this or some connector i don't know , i didn't find it in the repair manual
So if someone have any ideas i would be glad to hear your advice
The other strange thing is that my radiator fan is working for a very short period of time for about 10 sec. and not enough to cool the engine. Therefore the engine is not stable at 90 C and the temp rises up.
Where do i adjust the low and high values and where is the control box or timer that controls the radiator fan ?
And if someone to be so kind and post a proper electrical diagram of the air cond. control , the cooling fan and wiring of that small black box above the head lights i would be very grateful.
Israel is hot place and both the engine cooling and air conditioner are critical to my and my car's survival
BTW my car is a Fiat tempra station 1.6 carb. 1993.

UK Tempra`s never had AC fitted, so I cant help you there, however, regarding the fan question, you cant adjust them, its a simple thermostat switch fitted in the side of the radiator.

I`d bleed the cooling system in case theres an air lock (possible when they refilled the system after the rad change), this could cause the fan switch to be erratic as it needs to be in direct contact with the water to opperate).

Dont drive the car when its overheating or you will blow the head gasket & possibly damage the engine. Wire in a seperate wiring loom & switch (& with a relay) so you can turn the fan on manually at the first sign of overheating.

AC cars usually have 2 fans, either side by side or sometimes 1 either side of the radiator & condenser. When the AC is switched on, one should be on perminantly (with the engine running).

Also AC cars uaully have a relay to switch the electromagnetic clutch on & off, it usually als switched the AC fan on, I`m not sure where it is on the Tempra though, hopefully someone in a country thathad AC can help.

Regarding the AC i have only one fan and two radiators one behind another.
I checked all the accessible fuses and relays of the AC system i could find , all seems to be fine. The clutch coil is also ok , the problem is that there is no signal to the AC clutch relay. I just need more detailed drawings of the AC system to fix this.

If there isn't enough gas in the system the low
pressure switch will cut the power to the clutch
same if there is over pressure.

I will try to bypass the pressure sensor and see if it helps.

Ok but the pressure sensors there for a reason
low gas = low lubrication as the gas lubricates
the compressor. No lubrication = damage to
compressor and seals expensive.

If you have never had the aircon regassed
you loose a percentage of gas each year
as it permeates through the hoses or by
passes the seals.
