Posts: 5 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Hatchback door not opening Hello I have a 1993 5 door estate 1.6 tempra - the rear door won't open unless I get inside and pull the catch. I think there is something broken as when I turn the key in the lock it does nothing. I am going to try and fix it tomorrow but if anyone has any idea's.

When you turn the key, you have it into the frond doors or you try directly from the rear door?

I'm gonna try to fix it this sunday, actualy i'm gonna start to work on the entire car sunday!

Posts: 630 Thanks: 18 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Hatchback door not opening Theres a series of levers, clips & rods on the back of both the lock & handle, it sounds like 1 of those & worked loose or cracked & has dropped off. Should be quite simple to sort out.
