Posts: 8 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Side mirror I recently bought a used 1995 Tempra 1.6 i.e. and the left side mirror cannot be ajusted enough so that I can see near my car. The problem is not visible. Any tips on improving the functioning of the mirror lever? Israel

Electric can be "forced" by pressing on the glass, they have a small mechanisim inside that "clicks" to allow the mirror to move if you push it into position. Manual will tend to return to position when you push on the glass if the cables to move it are stiff or damaged. Both types are relatively easy to get of the car (you can lubricate the manual cables), but getting the mirror assembly out of the housing can be tricky, might be best to replace the assembly from a scrappy, not worth the cost of a new one. mike Last edited by Ziomike; 27-01-2009 at 14:39. | |||
