Posts: 277 Thanks: 3 Trader Rating: 0   | Re: 1.9D non turbo torque settings for cylinder head I have used what the book said which is: Tighten the ten bolts in the following sequence: Stage 1 tighten all bolts to 50 nm Stage 2 tighten all bolts to 100 nm Stage 3 tighten all bolts a quarter turn Stage 4 tighten all bolts another quarter turn For each stage work from the middle 2 bolts outwards. MAKE SURE NO WATER IS IN THE BOLT HOLES !! You will be quite tired afterwards.
