(T) Fiat Tempra TD not starting!

Hi,

I have a 1995 fiat tempra 1.9TD, it was working fine when suddenly the engine cut out, and the car no longer starts. Before cutting out the "condensate in the diesel fuel filter" light came on.

I've changed the fuel filter and pressurised the fuel to send it from the tank to the injector pump. It reaches the pump then returns to the tank, but the injector pump is not sending fuel to the injectors. I have also checked the on/off switch for the injector pump which does work. This can only lead me to think the injector pump has gone. Any suggestions?

the stop solenoid on the injector pump can prevent the pump from injecting fuel.

Ive checked the on/off solenoid, there's another one on the bottom with a pin in it, im not sure what it does. Any help?

The stop solenoid may be ok but is there power getting to it, should have 12v on it all the time the ignition is on. Also faulty preheaters will stop the engine starting.
