Wipers: Intermittent and return functions lost. Scudo

Fiat Scudo EL 2001
My intermittant setting on my wipers has stopped working, along with the function which returns them to the bottom of the screen when i switch them off. Seems to be linked and both started at same time.
could go through and check all fuses everywhere but would be nice to have a lead for where to start.

I had something similar with my Fiorino, turned out to be the wipermotor...

A relay controls the intermittent function, but I don't think it controls the park "returns them to the bottom of the screen" setting.
It's worth checking though.

ok, so how, or at any rate where would i check that relay sfb?
and how did you discoever it was motor peter?

the 2 faults started concurrently, so i suspect one fault to be the cause of both, unles one is causing the other

I'm a Tipo owner, so don't know for sure where your fuse box is, but the relays are probably there.
On the Tipo intermittent is relay E9.

Hi,
The intermittent, park & flick setting of the wipers is controlled by a circuit within the 'blue relay' situated on the fuse-box behind the panel in the glove-box assuming your Scudo is a MK1. Replacement is simple but the relay will probably be tight/difficult to remove.

It's quite probable that Jimmer's Scudo is LHD, so would that make a difference to fuse box location?

I don't know if the under-dash fuse box is located differently on LHD models but I'm sure the handbook if present will show it's location.
