Well apart from the fact they are illegal for road use with a fine of up to £1000............
The police are getting pretty hot on this.

"showplates" have always been illegal,

having a fully compliant reflective background, with legally spaced, correct form characters,

but replacing a FIAT Badge / emblem instead of a supplying dealer..

I cannot see a problem.

the 1 thing I'm always amazed at are the "silver on black" stamped plates on relatively modern cars...

Sorry, but even a Fiat logo is illegal on a plate now.
In the side box you can have a "Euro GB" symbol, or country letters and flag, nothing else.

I appreciate the spec. has been abused, ( widely)

and TECHNICALLY , you should produce V5 in person when ordering / collecting plates,

Maybe Zeewulf wants a Full legal spec plate,

but instead of "useless garage ,co,uk" along the bottom

he wants ( block style) "FIAT Redditch"...

Close, I wanted a set with the new style Fiat Logo on the left side instead of the GB section to use for shows etc.
I was also going to order a new road legal set in order to get rid of the Arnold Clark brand that are on mine.

At £25 a set regardless of what you have on them they seemed a bargain, hence why I was asking if anyone had used them before.

I'm personally not bothered, I just wanted it to be clear, mainly to later reader of the thread, that bran logos are illegal on plates. This is much more likely to be picked up by police than just the bottom edge text. Technically the text should only be the details if the makers of the plate and that is required information on the plate.
